Our Wellness Team is here to help you get off on the right foot when it comes to your health and wellness. We want to help you become comfortable in our facility and assist you in mapping out an achievable path towards your goals.

WELLNESS CENTER SERVICES

We will work to give you the tools you need to build a healthy active lifestyle and then encourage you along the way. Our wellness staff can help tailor to your specific needs with our menu of options.

WELLNESS CONSULTATION:
A brief consultation will help our fitness staff target the areas of our wellness center to get you started or continue your fitness journey. Schedule your appointment at the front desk.

WELLNESS CENTER EQUIPMENT ORIENTATION: We understand that walking into a wellness center, with its many types of equipment, can be intimidating. Let us help you! Included with your membership, our fitness staff will show you how to use the cardiovascular and/or strength equipment to improve your health and well-being.

YOUTH/TEEN WELLNESS ORIENTATIONS: (Ages 10-15)
Youth/teen orientations demonstrate how to work out safely and effectively within the Y Wellness Center (2nd floor). It introduces exercise concepts and guidelines, gym etiquette and safety practices.

  • Parent/Youth Wellness Center Orientation: Ages 10-12 can use the cardio and circuit rooms with their parents after an orientation with fitness staff.
  • Youth/Teen Wellness Center Orientation: Ages 13-15
    Once youth have demonstrated the understanding of these concepts they will be able to work out in the Wellness Center. They may use the cardio and strength machines on their own.

SMART START:
Not sure where to start? Our excellent coaching staff will provide you with knowledge and accountability, to help you establish a habit of exercising, and encourage you, all in a friendly and non-intimidating way. A 2-week program, that addresses cardiovascular fitness, strength training and flexibility, will be developed and any follow up appointments necessary to get you started on your journey. RE-CONNECT
Recharge and refresh your current workout routine. A single appointment with a Wellness Coach to help you schedule a new plan based on your strengths, challenges and goals from the options that the Y offers. FREE for Y Members.

PERSONAL TRAINING CONSULTATION:
Meet one-on-one with a certified personal trainer for a free consultation. During this consultation, you will learn more about the personal training program options available to you, based on your goals and needs. FREE for Y Members.

YOUTH WELLNESS CENTER GUIDELINES

To ensure safety and proper use of equipment, the following guidelines are in place at each branch. Youth ages 10-15 are required to go through a Wellness Orientation prior to using equipment.

Age 10-12: Can use the Cardio and Circuit Rooms – with their parents – after an orientation with fitness staff. Can take Group Exercise classes with an adult, excluding cycling classes.

Age 13-15: Can use the Cardio, Circuit and Weight Rooms on their own after an orientation with fitness staff. May attend Group Exercise classes on their own.

Age 16 & up: Free access to the entire Wellness Center.

  • Under 7: Youth under 7 years of age are not permitted to be in the Wellness Center.
  • Ages 7-9:
    Permitted to use the track with a parent or adult next to them.

    MUST follow all track rules. Failure to do so will result in track privileges being revoked.

    Must check in at the Wellness Desk for a wristband.

  • Age 10-12:

    Permitted to use the track and cardio equipment marked with a blue dot accompanied by an adult upon completion of Youth Cardio Orientation.

    Register for a Youth Cardio Orientation at the Wellness Desk. Adult signature is required.

    Permitted to use mezzanine equipment when accompanied by an adult assuming safe and appropriate usage.

    Must check in at the Wellness Desk for an orientation wristband.

  • Age 13-15:

    Permitted to use cardio equipment, Free Motion and Matrix strength machines upon completion of a Teen Wellness Center Orientation

    • Register for a Teen Wellness Center Orientation at the Wellness Desk. Adult signature required.

    • Must check in at the Wellness Desk for an orientation wristband.

    Permitted to use the Free Weight Area upon completion of aTeen Free Weight Orientation.

    • A Teen Wellness Orientation must be completed prior to a Free Weight Orientation.

    • Passing the Free Weight Orientation is at the discretion of the Wellness Coach or Trainer.

    • Register for a Teen Free Weight Orientation at the Wellness Desk. Adult signature required.

    • Must check in at the Wellness Desk for an orientation wristband.

INBODY TESTING:

(Offered at both branches by appointment)

  • InBody + Coaching Session: $45 members only.
    • Includes 45 minute session with coach to discuss results, perform key functional assessment and develop course of action to help you reach your goal.
